NIRDPR inks MoU with CIPs in field of Rural Development
Hyderabad, Oct 6 : National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRD&PR) and Centre for Innovations in Public Systems (CIPS), Hyderabad, an autonomous body in the campus of Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) have signed an Memorandum Of Understanding (MoU) in the field of Rural development and Rural transformation here today.
Under the agreement, it was decided to work together in the field of Rural development/Rural transformation by jointly identifying areas of intervention and bring in innovative practices that have potential for replication, concentrate on transfer and adaptation of rural technologies, promote, familiarise, disseminate to the root level the various flagship programmes, Hyderabad-based Institute said in a release here.
The NIRD&PR and CIPS would also take up the projects jointly from Government of India and other agencies, exchange of knowledge and expertise of both the institutions with each other including exchange of resource persons, to work with regard to the aspects of Good Governance.
It would also hold Regional, National level Workshops and Conferences and Training programmes on various subjects relevant for improving rural livelihoods and replication of innovative practices, the release added.(UNI)
