NEW DELHI, JULY 15 :  External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Monday congratulated new Nepal Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba on her appointment to the post, and said he looks forward to working with her to enhance the bilateral ties. In a post on X, the EAM said:

“Congratulate Arzu Rana Deuba on your appointment as the Foreign Minister of Nepal. “Look forward to working with you to enhance the India-Nepal multifaceted partnership.”

Arzu Rana Deuba, a senior member of the Nepali Congress, was on Monday appointed Foreign Minister by new Nepal Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is heading a UML-Nepali Congress government.

Arzu Rana Deuba is also the wife of Nepali Congress chief and former prime minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.(UNI)
