Neuberg Diagnostics launches its new lab in Telangana
Khammam, Jul 13: Neuberg Diagnostics Private Limited, one of India’s leading pathology players Today launched a new state-of-the-art pathology lab in Khammam, Telangana.
The new lab was inaugurated by Telangana Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar, Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao, and Nama Nageshwar Rao, MP.
Speaking on the occasion, Aishwarya Vasudevan, Group Chief Operating Officer, Neuberg Diagnostics Private Limited, said, “The 2nd wave of covid had a major impact on the Indian healthcare ecosystem. There is a demand for superior healthcare services, right from diagnosis to treatment, in Tier II & III cities…our efforts are directed towards filling this gap.
This new lab at Khammam is an important milestone in Neuberg’s vision to help the battle against disease by making available the most advanced diagnostics tests within the reach of the common man across the globe, with a relentless focus on quality, cutting-edge technology, and uncompromising ethics, ” she added.
Currently, Neuberg Diagnostics has 109 labs in India and 15 labs overseas (USA, South Africa, and Dubai).
With 14 approved labs for Covid testing in India, the group has the capacity to process more than 65000 tests per day. Additionally, the group is also doing COVID tests from 3 of its labs in South Africa and 1 in the USA.
The group had closed FY 21 with gross revenue of Rs 800 crore. As a part of the expansion plan in FY22, Neuberg will be launching 30 new labs and more than 500 collection center’s in domestic and international markets, a release here said. (UNI)
