Bijapur, Chhattisgarh, Oct 16 : A Maoist carrying a total reward of Rs 1 crore has died at an extremist camp in Basguda-Pamed forest area following prolonged illness.

“We began receiving inputs of Akkiraju’s death since Thursday afternoon. The immediate cause was heart attack. The Chhattisgarh government alone had announced a purse of Rs 40 lakh on his arrest,” Inspector General (Bastar Range) P Sundarraj said today.(UNI)
