National Track Cycling Championship-2021 concludes
Hyderabad, April 1 : Cycling Federation Of India’s 72nd Senior, 49th Junior & 35th Sub-Junior National Track Cycling Championship-2021 concluded in the city on Wednesday evening.
Mr Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary of Information Technology, Government of Telangana who also is the President of Telangana Olympic Association was the chief guest at the closing ceremony and gave away medals to the winners and record holders.
Mr S Onkar Singh, Secretary-General, Asian Cycling Confederation, Chairman of Cycling Federation of India and Joint Secretary of Indian Olympic Association graced the occasion.
Mr Singh, who was impressed after seeing the arrangements expressed the desire to host Asian Track Championship.
Accordingly, Telangana Cycling Association (TCA) was asked to be ready to host Asian Track Championship in October this year.
The organising committee members comprised of Malla Reddy, President, Katkam Dattatraya, Secretary; Rajkumar Kacharla, Chairman; three Co-Chairmans Anurag Rai Saxena, Vijay K, Dr Maxwell Trevor, Vijay Kanth and Venkat Khumbam were present on the occasion profusely thanked Mr Jayesh Ranjan, who played a very key role in hosting the event without any hassles.(UNI)
