Mysuru, Jul 28 : Century-year-old Mysuru zoo announced the birth of a male Giraffe Today.

In a statement, the executive director of the zoo – Ajit Kulkarni, said a male Giraffe calf was born on to the parents Lakshmi and Bharath. This is the fourth calf of Lakshmi.

Mysuru Zoo has a birth record of 22 Giraffe calves (17 males and 5 females) till date.

At present, the Giraffe calf is healthy and Lakshmi is taking good care of her young one.(UNI)
