Panaji, Jul 28 : Music composer and playback singer Vardhan Singh, who is makin headline for his new track ‘Kya Tera Roothna Zaroori Hai’, a heartbreak ballad, has said that his voice compliments romantic tracks in a good way.
Speaking exclusively to UNI, he said,”As a composer and singer, I’ve been around a long time. It doesn’t matter whether it is an item number or trendy beats. Nevertheless, I feel that my voice compliments romantic tracks in a good way, and I’ve been told that I’m good with love songs.”
When asked did he feel that listeners were keener towards emotional and romantic songs rather than loud pop songs, he said,”There is a lot to do with timing and trends. Sometimes it’s emotional and romantic songs, other times it’s loud and pop music. After all, it’s up to the audience to choose what they will hear, and everyone’s tastes differ. The song-composing and singing of love songs is more of my forte.”
On what is the one thing that makes him agree to sing a song, the lyrics or the label he is singing for, Vardhan said,”I am mainly inspired by the lyrics primarily because they need to be engaging and beautiful. I loved the line ‘Kya tera roothna zaroori hai’ and I decided to compose it. The song was a hit with everyone and I was pleased they enjoyed it as well.”
About ‘Kya Tera Roothna Zaruri Hai’, he said,”There’s something sad and romantic about this song. It is deeply emotional and depicts the pain of heartbreak. The video is also quite romantic and intense. Romantic songs have always been something I have loved to do and am glad I’ve been able to put this song together.”
When asked what was next in his bucket list, Vardhan said,”At the moment, I would not disclose any details. In the meantime, there is a great deal going on and you will have the first chance to learn about it. One thing I can tell you is that I have back-to-back releases coming soon.”(UNI)
