MVA Govt. announce concrete program regarding reservation: Patil

Aurangabad, May 5 : Maratha reservation petitioner Vinod Patil on Wednesday said that Mahavikas Aghadi and Bharatiya Janata Party are accusing each other over the issue of Maratha reservation which was cancelled by the supreme court comprising five bench on today.
Reacting after the court verdict came out Mr Patil raised series of question, if the state government did not have the power to enact the Maratha Reservation Act, then why did the Congress-NCP support the non-empowerment law and Why did they give false assurance that we will abide by this law after coming into government.
Those who do not have the right to vote for the law and comment that we will uphold it, it means that you have also deceived the Maratha community,he said.
The second point is that, as one minister says, we will send the report of the backwardness commission to the National Backward Classes Commission. There is a simple question that Maratha reservation is a limited subject in Maharashtra.
The Central Backwardness Commission is applicable to the Center. The president of India does have powers, but are they for the center or for the state,it should be check out though,he demanded.
The Bharatiya Janata Party should also clarify what it can do to get reservations for the Marathas without making political allegations.
It is a humble request that both the parties should not make our issue pending in the political impeachment,Mr Patil urged.
While ,after the verdict came out through media the Maratha community youth starts agitation in different parts of state and held responsible for the state government for it as they not put their side strongly in the court.
In Aurangabad Maratha Kranthi Thok Morcha coordinator Ramesh Kere-Patil sit protest against the verdict at Kranthi chowk along with MKTM activists .
While ,in view of curfew orders enforced in the city police pickup all of them and taken to police station.
Mr Kere-Patil said that today is the black day in life of Maratha community who were given fight including peaceful silent March to get resevation since long in which numbers of Maratha youths were sacrificed their lives and over 13000 maratha youths were booked by police during the agitation
He warned that we will start our agitation and will going ask question to people representatives and this state government have to pay cost ,he added.(UNI)
