Etawah, Jun 20 :Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav’s granddaughter Deepali got married Today in Saifai in a low-key ceremony in the presence of senior politicians and family members.

Mulayam Singh Yadav’s granddaughter Deepali alias Shalu, was married to Prof. Ashwani Yadav, a resident of village Farida of Jasrana in Firozabad district.

Former UP Chief Minister and SP President Akhilesh Yadav, his uncle and PSPL President Shivpal Yadav, Bihar’s RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, former MP Dimple Yadav along with SP Patron Mulayam Singh Yadav blessed the couple.

Prof. Ram Gopal Yadav also reached the venue late.

The barat (procession), of around 50 people, was welcomed at the door by Abhayram Singh Yadav, father of former MP Dharmendra Yadav.

Due to health reasons, RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi could not come to attend the wedding.
Lalu’s elder son Tejashwi Yadav has come along with his younger sisters. But Misa Bharati too did not come.

Only a selected few were invited to the wedding ceremony. Only those people who had invitation cards were allowed to enter the pandal. Tight police security arrangements were made.(UNI)
