Modi’s ‘grave’ jab, according to Priyanka, is odd
T Narasipura, Apr 25 : Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Tuesday called Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “opposition digging his grave” barb as strange and a non-election issue.
“I heard the Prime Minister making ‘opposition leaders want to dig his grave’ jibe. What kind of talk is this? Is this an election issue? All people would want to wish for the PM’s good health and a long life,” she said addressing a public rally here in poll-bound Karnataka.
The BJP raises strange issues, but stays away from talking about real issues like price rise, unemployment, and people’s wellbeing, Priyanka said.
Taking on the Congress for their ‘Modi teri khabar khudegi’ slogan, PM Modi had reiterated on Priyanka urged the people to ensure that this election is centred around their issues rather than on PM Modi. “This election is not about a leader, but is about you (people). It is your daily life, and pride has been destroyed by their (BJP) loot,” she said.
If the people don’t realise this, the future of their children is unsafe, and it would be a big mistake, Priyanka added.(UNI)
