Min Jayant Patil questions fuel prices hike
Aurangabad, May 12 : NCP State President and Water Resources Minister Jayant Patil on Wednesday questioned petrol and diesel prices are kept under control when elections came and after the elections were over, the price hike is decided and said is this financial planning.
In his tweet message, Mr Patil has expressed his displeasure over the hike in petrol and diesel prices in the country and the state.
Petrol and diesel prices have been steadily rising. As a result, petrol in Delhi is priced at Rs 92.05 per litre and diesel at Rs 82.61 per litre.
The fuel price hike continues in Maharashtra too. Parbhani has the highest price of petrol in the state where petrol goes up to Rs 100.75 paise and diesel at 90.68 paise.
In Mumbai, petrol is priced at Rs 98.36 per litre and diesel at Rs 89.75 per litre.
The Union Finance Ministry is planning a different level of finance and said finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman should shed light on this, he tweeted.(UNI)
