MCEME signs agreement for designing indigenous ATRV
Hyderabad, Feb 20 : The Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME) Secunderabad and Ordnance Factory Medak have signed a Academic and Technical Linkage agreement on February 19, 2021, for designing an indigenous Armoured Tracked Repair Vehicle (ATRV).
Lieutenant General TSA Narayanan, AVSM, Commandant MCEME and Col Commandant Corps of EME, presided over the ceremony. Major General JS Sidana, Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor, Brigadier T Srinivasa Rao, Dean FEME and members of MCEME along with Mr Alok Prasad, General Manager, OFMK, Mr Anurag Sharma, Director, Ordnance Design Centre and Mr Vaikunth Rao, Dy Director, OFMK were present during this momentous historic event between two institutions.
Under the agreement, both MCEME and ODC, OFMK, Medak will work together on projects on Armoured Tracked Vehicles, conduct of trg of personnel, manufacturing of system incl components in common academic and tech activities towards indigenisation as well as alternate solutions in field of engineering and technology of AFVs.
