New Delhi, Mar 12 : Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee on Friday tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

According to reports, the 51-year-old actor was currently shooting for his upcoming flick, Despatch.

The actor’s team, in a statement, said that the film’s director, Kanu Behl, has also contracted the virus.

“The shoot has stopped and will resume in a couple of months. Bajpayee is on medication and recovering well. He is in self-quarantine at home and following all precautions,” the statement read.

The film Despatch is an investigative crime thriller that is based on crime journalism.(UNI)
