Madikeri, April 6: A man, accused of burning to death seven members of his family, was found dead on Tuesday morning.
According to police, the accused Mani Yeravara Bhoja (55) from Mugutageri in Ponnampet Taluk, had gone missing after the crime.
Bhoja reportedly called up his daughter and said, “When even after calling your mother for 2 weeks, she did not come, I poured petrol on her and burned her, go see her face, go”, the audio of his saying has now gone viral on social media. Talking further, Bhoja said “I burned her after pouring petrol on her, go see her face, now even I am going to die”, saying this, he reportedly cut the call.
The conversation confirmed that Bhoja committed suicide. His body was found on a plantation adjacent to his house beside Ponnampete.
