Srinagar, Feb 26 : A man, who was injured critically in a road accident on last Sunday in Bandipora, succumbed in a Srinagar hospital on Friday, official sources said.

They said 45-year-old Irshad Ahmad was critically injured when a car he was travelling in skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge at Saderkote Payeen in Bandipora in north Kashmir.

He was shifted to local hospital from where he was referred to S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS). He died this morning, they said adding the was handed over to his family members after medical and legal formalities.

Police has already registered a case, they added. (UNI)
