Mahmood Ali, the former Dy CM of Telangana, makes a declaration regarding his health
HYDERABAD JAN 27 : Following his fall on Friday, January 26, following a Republic Day celebration in the city, Mahmood Ali, the former deputy chief minister, issued a statement providing an update on his condition.
Mahmood Ali lost consciousness for a brief period of time on Friday following the flag-raising ceremony at Telangana Bhavan in Banjara Hills.
Following the flag-unfurling ceremony at Telangana Bhavan in Banjara Hills, where former IT minister KT Rama Rao was present, Mahmood Ali lost consciousness for a short while. He was sent to Apollo Hospital right away.
The former home minister of Telangana claimed in his statement that he had been attending Republic Day activities all morning when he passed out from exhaustion. “Every report is positive. Thank God, I’m doing better,” Mamood Ali remarked.
Following Telangana state’s creation in 2014, Mahmood Ali was appointed as the state’s first deputy chief minister, a position he held until 2018.
After BRS, renamed TRS, won the 2018 elections, he became the minister of the home.
