MUMBAI, SEP 21: Maharashtra has recorded 550 new Covid-19 cases and 2 coronavirus-related deaths, as per the health bulletin on Wednesday.

The state’s cumulative case tally now stands at 81,16,384 and the overall toll went up to 1,48,314.

A total of 772 patients were discharged taking the overall count of recoveries to 79,63,854.

The state’s recovery rate stands at 98.11 percent and the fatality rate at 1.82 percent.

As of now, 4,216 patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals, the bulletin added.

In the Marathwada region, 34 positive patients were reported including 9 cases each from Aurangabad and Latur districts, 6 cases in Osmanabad, 5 cases in Jalna, 2 cases in Hingoli, and a single case each in Nanded, Beed, and Parbhani districts, the bulletin said. (UNI)
