Aurangabad/Mumbai, June 18 : Maharashtra reports 4,165 fresh Covid-19 cases and 3 related deaths, according to health bulletin on Saturday.

With the addition of these new cases, the state’s cumulative case tally has surged to 79,27,862 and the death toll has gone up to 1,47,883.

Meanwhile, 3,047 patients were cured and discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 77,58,230.

The state’s recovery rate significantly came down to 97.86 per cent and fatality rate to 1.86 per cent .

So far ,8,15,17,399 samples have been tested across the state and out of them 79,27,862 people were found positive i. e. 9.73 percent.

Presently, 21,748 active patients were undergoing treatment in different hospitals across the state, the bulletin added.

Meanwhile, 19 Covid cases were reported from the Marathwada region of the state, including 10 in Aurangabad, 6 in Latur, 2 in Osmanabad district and one in Nanded district, the bulletin further added.(UNI)
