Mumbai, July 11 : Maharashtra has reported 2,591 Covid-19 cases and no deaths, the health bulletin stated on Monday.

With these new cases, the state’s cumulative case tally has surged to 80,04,024.

At least 2,894 people were discharged, taking overall count of recoveries to 78,37,679.

The state’s recovery rate has significantly come down to 97.92 per cent while the fatality rate stands at 1.84 per cent.

At preset there are 18,369 active cases.

Marathwada region has reported 159 Covid cases — 72 in Jalna district, 47 in Aurangabad district, 19 in Osmanabad district, 15 in Latur district and 6 in Beed.(UNI)
