Mumbai, May 29 : A total of 31,964 COVID patients were discharged after recovering from the virus in the past 24 hours, according to the state health bulletin issued Today.
This is the 19th consecutive day when more recoveries were reported than new cases across in the state.
With this, total number of recoveries goes up to 53,39,838 in the state.
Meanwhile 20,295 new COVID-19 cases and 443 deaths were also reported in the last 24 hours.
The fresh surge has taken the infections tally to 57,13,215 while the death toll to 94,030 as per the bulletin.
The recovery rate has now continues going up and stand to 93.46 per cent due to more recoveries of patients. The fatality rate is 1.65 per cent.
The state has 2,76,573 active cases now undergoing treatment, the bulletin added.(UNI)
