Nashik, Jan 6 : Nashik Today  recorded 538 new Covid-19 cases while two patients died of the virus, stated an official health bulletin.

With the new additions, the total caseload surged to 4,15,801 and the death toll climbed to 8,763.

While, 130 people were recovered and discharged today, taking the count of cured cases to 4,05,171.

Presently, Nashik has 1,867 active cases, bulletin added.

On Wednesday, Nashik tallied 508 cases hence taking the single-day tally beyond 500-mark for the first time since start of the new year.(UNI)
