Thane, Jul 12 (UNI) With the detection of 423 new covid cases in the last 24 hours, the district’s caseload rose to 5,37,781, an official said today.

The district witnessed seven deaths in the past day, mounting the death toll to 10,843. The mortality rate now stands at 2.01 percent.
In the neighboring Palghar district, the COVID-19 case count has gone up to 1,18,259 while the death toll is 2,635 the official said. (UNI)
