Jalna, Jun 20 : In the past 24 hours, 15 new COVID cases were detected while no fatality occurred due to the virus, stated Jalna Civil Surgeon Today.
With the new addition, the total caseload has now surged to 61,011 while the death toll remained at 1,134.
Meanwhile, 45 people were discharged in the same period, taking count of the recovered cases to 59,591–which translates into a recovery rate of 97.67 per cent.
The fatality rate stands at 1.86 per cent. Presently, Jalna has 286 active cases, he added.(UNI)
