Jalna, May 2 : As many as 15 patients were succumbed due to the COVID-19 while 935 new cases were detected here on Sunday , stated district Civil Surgeon.
With the new additions, the total caseload has now surged to 47,957 while the death toll mounted to 798.
He further said that 764 people were cured and discharged today, taking the count of recovered cases to 40,125.
Presently, there are 6878 active cases. The recovery rates stands to 83.67 per cent and the fatality rate at 1.86 per cent, he added.(UNI)
