Mumbai, Jul 2 : Maharashtra government on Friday issued guidelines for the celebration of Eid al-Adha which will be celebrated on July 21.
The government urged people to celebrate the festival in a simple manner due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
According to the guidelines shared by the Home department of the state, there is a ban in place on all religious programs and people should offer namaz or prayers in their homes instead of mosques
The guidelines also say that people should do Qurbani or sacrifice while purchasing animals online. (UNI)
