Nagpur, May 26: A man who is daily-wage labourer, allegedly killed his one-year-old son after a quarrel with his wife in a village in Nagpur district of Maharashtra , police said here Today.
According to police the incident took place on Tuesday night when the accused Bhajan Metab Kawreti(40), a resident of Wakodi village, asked his wife for money to buy alcohol and she refused him.
A heated argument between the couple led the father to smash his son’s head against a boulder in the courtyard of his house, police said.
The infant sustained serious head injuries and died on the spot, he said.
The accused kept the dead body of his son in the house and was planning to dispose of the body .
A case under section 302 (murder) of the IPC has been registered against the accused,
