Nanded, Apr 30: A young farmer from Talani village in Hadgaon tehsil died on Friday due to lightning strike.
NitinPandurangDalvi (age 34) was on his way to a cattle shed to fetch fodder and water when he was struck by lightning and died on the spot.

Sporadic rain showers with sudden gusts of wind occurred during evening hours in all tehsils of the district. As it was raining, he hurried to the barn, but lightning struck. His body was taken to a rural hospital in Hadgaon for autopsy.
Unseasonal rain accompanied by stormy winds lashed the district at various places causing hardship to the people and damaging many crops. The entire day remained to be cloudy and windy. In the evening hours, it started raining in many tehsils while the low-lying city areas were waterlogged.(UNI)
