Mah Cong wants Anna Hazare to launch agitation against Centre
Thane, Aug 1 : Maharashtra Congress chief Nana Patole appealed social activist Anna Hazare to launch an agitation against the Centre over inflation and hike in fuel prices.
He expressed the desire on Saturday when he came to Navi Mumbai for launching party’s signature against inflation. Later, he distributed essential goods to the trangenders in Thane city.
He said, “The common man in the country wants Anna Hazare to lead the agitation against the price rise. He should once again under take the fast against the price rise like the one which he had undertaken at the Ramlila Maidan on the issue of Lok Ayukta.”
“As a common man it is my desire also that Anna Hazare should under take the fast,” he averred.
He further said, “The hard earned money of the farmers and the citizens of the country was being given away to Mallya, Nirav Modi etc. We have every right to question you about our money which came from frequent price rise and the increase in prices of petrol.”
He continued, “It has become impossible for the citizens to survive due to the wrong policies of the Centre.”
“The pot of sins of BJP is filled and it will be seen now. The citizens will give them a befitting reply,” he remarked.
He pointed out, “During the Congress regime, the citizens used to get returns on investments and now for every transaction with the bank they are required to pay certain charges.”
“The taxes and money collected from the citizens was earlier being used for the developmental projects now it is being given away to handful of rich,” he alleged.(UNI)
