Beed, Jan 4 : Maharashtra Social Justice Minister Dhananjay Munde Today  dedicated a state-of-the-art COVID-19 diagnosis and research lab to the citizens of this district.
The function was also virtually graced by Health Minister Rajesh Tope who lauded the Beed administration for efficiently tacking COVID crisis and saving many lives.
He assured that the healthcare demands of this district will be considered positively. The need of manpower and technical expertise will also be looked after, he added.
He appealed to the citizens to diligently follow COVID norms as pandemic figures are rising in metropolitan cities.
Prior to the setting up of this lab, Beed had to manage with just one COVID testing lab which is located at Ambajogai, told Mr Munde who is also Beed Guardian Minister.
Now, this lab has the capacity to test 5,000 samples daily, he underlined while mentioning his efforts to get this facility build at the district hospital.(UNI)
