Thane, May 6 : 3017 new covid positive cases and 53 deaths were registered in last 24 hours in Thane district, the authorities said today.
With this, a total of covid cases has reached 4,80,194 and toll has spiked to 7833 to date.
The mortality rate was 1.63 per cent, he added.
In neighbouring Palghar district, the COVID-19 case count has gone up to 91,570 while the death toll was 1,647 he said.(UNI)
