Thane, Apriil 20 :  As many as 30 inmates were tested covid positive at Adharwadi jail at Kalyan in Thane district, sources said.

They are being treated in Thane Civil hospital, RMO informed on Tuesday.

As the second wave of Covid hit across the state, these inmates were examined.
Of 1800, 30 tested positive, the official at the hospital said.

Meanwhile KDMC civic limits added 1,551 positive cases and 07 deaths on Monday taking the total figures to 1,07,584 and 1.329 respectively of positive cases and deaths.(UNI)
