Thane, Aug 25 : Maharashtra’s Thane district recorded 189 new cases of COVID-19 during the past 24 hours, taking the cumulative tally of cases to 5,49,905, a Health Department official said Today.

The district saw 10 more demises in the same period mounting the death toll to 11,256. The mortality rate was 2.04 per cent, he added.(UNI)
