Thane, May 7: A 14-year-old boy from Shahapurtaluka lost his life after being struck from lighting, the district rural police said today.
Shahapur police said the district witnessed the heavy rain accompanied with thunders and lightning last evening, and the victim, ParasArunFarde of FardePada at Shivner village along with his family members was returning home from his field, the lightning struck him, dieing on the spot.
A case was registered and further investigation was on, police said.(UNI)
