Srinagar, May 21 : An agitated mob killed a leopard in retaliation after the wild animal attacked and injured eight persons, three of them critically in south Kashmir district of Kulgam Today official sources said.
They said a leopard entered Damhal Hanjipora in Kulgam district this afternoon from nearby forest. However, before the villagers could do anything, wild animal attacked and injured eight persons.
The injured were rushed to local hospital from where three of them were referred to S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), they said.
Later, agitated villagers attacked and killed the wild animal in retaliation, they said.(UNI)
