Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 1 : Kerala reported 2,846 fresh cases of Covid-19 out of the 40,523 samples tested during the last 24 hours. Two deaths too were recorded on Tuesday. “Meanwhile, 38 recent deaths lacking proper records have been added today. About 128 deaths were also added to the list based on appeals seeking its inclusion in the list taking the death toll in the state to 65,501” an official press release said. About 4,325 people recovered from the disease today. As many as 24,912 people, who already tested positive, are undergoing treatment in the State while 64,10,844 people have recovered from the infection so far. Currently 93,948 people are under observation in the state – 92,065 are at their homes or institutional quarantine centres and 1,883 are in hospitals. Today, 243 people infected with the virus were admitted in hospitals in the State.(UNI)
