Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 20 : With 49,183 samples tested during the last 24 hours, Kerala reported 5,427 fresh cases of Covid-19 from and nine related deaths on Sunday. “Meanwhile, 39 recent deaths lacking proper records have been added today. About 44 deaths were also added to the list based on appeals seeking its inclusion in the list taking the death toll in the State to 64,145,” an official statement said. However, 14,334 people have recovered from the disease since Saturday raising the total number of recovered in the state to 63,38,031. The statement further said that 66,018 people are undergoing treatment in the state. At present, 1,70,962 people are under observation in the state, the statement added. (UNI)
