Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 9 : Kerala reported 23,253 fresh Covid-19 positive cases from 84,919 samples tested during the last 24 hours and 29 deaths Today. “Meanwhile, 198 recent deaths lacking proper records have been added today. About 627 deaths were also added to the list based on appeals seeking its inclusion in the list taking the death toll in the State to 60,793,” an official press release said. About 47,882 people have recovered from the disease today. As many as 2,58,188 people, who already tested positive, are undergoing treatment in the State while 60,26,884 people have recovered from the infection so far. Currently 4,23,059 people are under observation in the State — 4,14,865 are at their homes or institutional quarantine centres and 8,194 in hospitals. Today, 1,285 people infected with virus were admitted in hospitals in the State. (UNI)
