Kerala Cabinet decides to provide job to wife of JWO Pradeep killed in chopper crash
Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 15 : Kerala Cabinet Today decided to provide a government job for the wife of Junior Warrant Officer A Pradeep, who was among the 13 who died when the helicopter carrying CDS Gen Bipin Rawat crashed near Coonoor in Tamil Nadu on December 8.
The Cabinet decided to provide the job in ‘class three’ category to Srilakshmi on the basis of her educational qualification in any of the government department in Thrissur district, a press release said.
The Cabinet took a decision in this regard after making necessary exemption in the existing rules in providing employment to the dependents of jawans killed in war or a war like situation.
Rupees three lakh was sanctioned for the treatment of Pradeep’s father Radhakrishnan from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Another Rs 5 lakh will be given to the dependents of Pradeep from the Chief Minister’s Sainik Welfare Fund.(UNI)
