Kejriwal will be on two-day visit to Punjab from Dec 15
Chandigarh, Dec 14 : Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will be on a two-day visit to Punjab from December 15.
Kejriwal will lead a Tiranga Yatra (Tricolor March) in Jalandhar on December 15, while challenging Badal family in Lambi constituency on the second day of his visit.
Stating this here on Tuesday, AAP Punjab President and MP Bhagwant Mann said that on the first day, Kejriwal will join the party’s ‘Tiranga Yatra’ program in Jalandhar on Wednesday. He said that this Tricolor procession would start from Corporation Chowk, Jalandhar at 1100 hours and would march across the city through various markets.
Mann invited people to join the yatra and shared with the media a tweet of Arvind Kejriwal today, in which the AAP supremo said, “Tomorrow I will be joining the Tiranga Yatra in Jalandhar. All Jalandhar residents are urged to come in maximum numbers. With the tricolor in our hands, under the slogan of ‘Bharat Mata Di Jai’, the tricolor procession will take to the streets of Jalandhar in an atmosphere of patriotism.
The AAP MP said that the AAP national convener would challenge Badal family too and reach Lambi on December 16 to address a public meeting at village Khudian of this constituency.(UNI)
