Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal tied the nuptial knot on 9 December in the National Park city of Ranthambore at Six Senses Fort Resort, Barwara in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. The much-hyped and secretive wedding ceremonies started on 7 December and will end today on 10 December. It is one of the talked about weddings in Bollywood, where who’s who from all walks of life attended the wedding. Katrina’s entire family flew from London to participate in the celebrations. The duo has been apparently dating for almost two years. It all started when Katrina Kaif appeared on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee with Karan Season 6 and said she would like to work with Vicky Kaushal as they would look good together. Later, when Vicky appeared on the show with Ayushmann Khurrana, Karan told him the same. The surprised Vicky pretended to faint and admitted having a crush on the actress. Kat attended the screening of Vicky’s film Uri: The Surgical Strike in January 2019 and that fueled their dating rumors. Later, Vicky jokingly proposed to Katrina saying ‘Mujhse Shaadi karogi?’ at the Zee Cine Awards. They were spotted together at various Bollywood functions, though the couple never admitted to being in a relationship. The following year, the duo celebrated Holi along with Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. Katrina and Vicky got together in 2021 with family and close friends. They also posted different pictures from their secret gateway on Instagram. Actor Harshvardhan Kapoor in an interview confirmed they were dating and said, Katrina and Vicky, are indeed together. We are now looking forward to their wedding pictures breaking the Internet.


Katrina Kaif was born in Hong Kong on 16 July 1883 as Katrina Turquotte is a British citizen and has completed 18 years in the Bollywood film industry. She debuted in 2003 with the film Boom. Though the film was a flop, Katrina was noticed and she grabbed many modeling assignments and commercial ad films. She has so far won 3 Stardust, 4 Zee Cine, 4 Screen. 1 IIFA, 2 Star Guild, and 4 Filmfare awards. Her few upcoming films are underway. Katrina reportedly charges 11 crores for a film and her net worth is 224 crore. Her personal life has been the subject of extensive media attention several times. Rumors of a relationship with Salman Khan first emerged in 2003, which she called a serious relationship after their break up in 2010. After the breakup, she came close to Ranbir Kapoor during the filming of Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, although this was denied by her and Ranbir. In August 2013, photographs of Kapoor and Kaif on a holiday in Ibiza were leaked by Stardust and were interpreted as confirmation of their affair. After the appearance of the photos, Kaif published an open letter to the media saying that she was “upset, distressed, and invaded” by the breach of privacy. Although she later acknowledged Ranbir as “an extremely important part of her life”. In February 2016, their breakup was reported by the media. Katrina is very close to her family. Her mother is Christian and her father is Muslim. She herself claims to be a “firm believer in God”. Vicky Kaushal was born in a Punjabi family on 16 May 1988 in Mumbai. He obtained an engineering degree in electronics and telecommunications from Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Mumbai. He briefly took a job and studied acting at an academy. He worked as an assistant director to Anurag Kashyap in the crime drama Gangs of Wasseypur (2012). He appeared in minor roles in Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana (2012) and Bombay Velvet (2015), and the short film Geek Out (2013). Kaushal played his first leading role in the film Masaan (2015). Thereafter he appeared in Zubaan and Raman Raghav 2.0 (2016). He achieved his breakthrough in 2018 from romantic comedy Love per Square Foot, India’s first Netflix original film. He next featured in Raazi (2018), set during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971. His second Netflix of the year was the film Lust Stories, which consists of four short films dealing with female sexuality. Kaushal was seen in Karan Johar’s segment as a newly married man who fails to recognise his wife’s sexual dissatisfaction. Kaushal’s most commercially successful release of 2018 came with Sanju, a biopic of Sanjay Dutt. Kaushal played the role of the best friend of Ranbir Kapoor. Both Raazi and Sanju proved to be among the highest-grossing Hindi films of 2018. Kaushal was then seen in Manmarziyaan (2019). Kaushal starred as a military officer in Uri: The Surgical Strike, a film based on the 2016 Uri attack. It is the tenth highest-grossing Indian film domestically. Next year, he featured in the horror film Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship (2020). Vicky played Sardar Udham Singh in the movie Sardar Udham which was released on Amazon Prime Video on 16 October 2021. The film is based on the life of Sardar Udham Singh, a revolutionary freedom fighter known for assassinating Michael O’Dwyer in London to take revenge for 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar. Vicky has done 12 films in 9 years of her Bollywood career, out of which 2 films proved to be super hit. He won the Best Debut Male Actor Award for his role in Massan and also the Best Actor National Award for Uri: The Surgical Strike. He also won 2 Best Supporting Actor Awards for Sanju. Vicky reportedly charges 3-4 crore for a film and his net worth is around 25 crores. Kaushal will be seen next in the war drama Sam Bahadur, where he will essay Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. He is set to play the lead role in the planned trilogy mythological film The Immortal Ashwatthama. Kaushal topped The Times of India’s listing of the country’s most desirable men of 2018. He was ranked in 2019 and 2020. Forbes India featured him in their 30 Under-30 lists of 2018. Kaushal contributed 1 crore to the PM CARES Fund and Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Relief Fund due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India.
