K Reddy welcomes YCP leader to BJP and charges Congress of making hollow promises.
HYDERABAD, FEB 16 : BJP State President and Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy alleged that the Congress Party is carrying suitcases to Delhi, failing to fulfill promises made to the people.
YCP leader Chhuala Rammohan joined the BJP along with his followers at the BJP state office on Friday, welcomed by Union Minister Kishan Reddy, who invited them to join the party.
Speaking to the media, Kishan Reddy criticised the Congress for not implementing its promises, accusing the party of bringing suitcases to Delhi.
He highlighted the lack of progress on the six guarantees made by the Congress and emphasised the Modi government’s commitment to transparency and action.
Kishan Reddy also accused Congress and BRS parties of collusion, labeling them as corrupt family-oriented entities. He criticised the Congress government for not investigating the BRS party and KCR, alleged corruption.
Union Minister Kishan Reddy praised the Modi government for providing substantial funds for Telangana’s development in the last nine and a half years.
He highlighted infrastructure projects, such as the development of Charlapally, Secunderabad, Kachiguda, and Nampally railway stations, emphasising the need for Modi’s leadership for Telangana’s development, investments, and job creation.
On the issue of terrorism, Kishan Reddy credited the Modi government for its decisive actions, including the abrogation of Article 370 and establishing peace in Kashmir.
He highlighted the reduction in terrorism-related incidents in Hyderabad and the government’s efforts to combat corruption.
Kishan Reddy called on India to prepare for global leadership in the next 25 years under Modi’s vision, emphasising the need for a corruption-free government.(UNI)
