Kakinada, July 12: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) has achieved the ISO 9001-2015 certificate in recognition of its efficient functioning observing highest educational standards, modern facilities.

Participating as the chief guest at the special function held at the University conference hall here on Tuesday, he said, the ISO recognition was achieved for observing best standards by various departments in the university including administrative wing, examination cell, innovation center, modern library.

The ISO certificate enables the university to impart qualitative education to students and paves the way for securing best grades in NAAC and NBAs’ he added. Later the ISO representative Alapati Sivaiah presented the ISO certificate to the Vice chancellor. Internal quality assurance cell Director Prof N. Balaji has chaired the function.

Rector Prof KV Ramana, Registrar Prof L.Sumalatha, OSD Prof D. Koteswerarao, Director academic audit and PRO Prof Ch Saibabu and other directors including Prof Vipparty Ravindra, Prof JVR Murty attended.(UNI)
