Srinagar, Dec 19 : Jammu and Kashmir Today  recorded 136 new Covid-19 cases and one death during the past 24 hours, an official spokesman said.

Out of 136 fresh positive cases 22 were reported from Jammu division and 114 from Kashmir taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 339827.

He said one person succumbed to Coronavirus in Kashmir valley taking the total death toll to 4512 including 2194 in Jammu division and 2318 in Kashmir.

Moreover, 142 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 42 from Jammu Division and 100 from Kashmir.

No new case of Mucormycosis has been reported today, thus the total number of confirmed cases remains 50 across J&K..

He said 31,799doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to 1,75,92,163.

Out of 339827 positive cases, 1451 are Active Positive (341 in Jammu Division and 1110in Kashmir Division), 333864 have recovered.

He said that out of 18658073 test results available, 339827 samples have tested positive and 18318246 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 54,153 COVID tests have been conducted in the last 24 hours.(UNI)
