JK Lieutenant Governor meets Amir, the international paratrooper
SRINAGAR, JUNE 14 : Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday met the International Para Shooter Amir Ahmad Bhat at Raj Bhavan in Srinagar.
Amir is the first Para Shooter in the country who has qualified for the Olympics and will represent India in P3-25m Pistol mixed at the 2024 Paralympic games to be held at Paris, France from August 28 to September 2024.
Hailing from Damhall Village of south Kashmir Anantnag district, Amir is serving as Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) in the Indian Army and is going to represent India in Pistol Shooting Competition at Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
The Lt Governor congratulated Amir for his remarkable achievements in national and international events and conveyed best wishes to him for the upcoming Paralympic Games.(UNI)
