Jaishankar, Wendy Sherman hold talks on boosting Indo-US ties
New Delhi, Oct 6 : External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar today met with US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman during which the two had a good conversation on the Indo-US relationship, its significance and growth.
In a tweet, EAM Jaishankar said the two had also appreciated the successful visit to the US last month of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during which he had attended an in-person meeting with US President Joe Biden as well as Vice President Kamala Harris.
“Glad to meet US @DeputySecState Wendy Sherman today.
“A good conversation on our relationship, its significance and its growth.
“Appreciated the successful visit of PM @narendramodi to the US and the Quad Leaders’ Summit,” he tweeted.
Earlier in the day, the US Deputy Secretary of State held talks with Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla.(UNI)
