Panaji, Jun 1: The Indian Navy recovered body of drowned youth who were feared drowned in Khandepar river at Okamb in Dharbandora taluka in South Goa Today.
According to a statement, based on the request from Ponda Police, a Naval diving team was deployed on Tuesday morning to provide assistance in locating two youths, a boy and a girl, feared drowned in Khandepar river at Okamb in Dharbandora taluka.
Whereas the body of the boy had surfaced by the time the team reached the site, the body of the girl was recovered by noon after carrying out extensive diving in the area.(UNI)
