RAMANATHAPURAM (TAMIL NADU), APRIL 6    :     The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) Director-General Rakesh Pal inaugurated the ICG Aquatic Centre at Indian Coast Guard Station (ICGS) Mandapam in Ramanathapuram district of Tamil Nadu on Saturday.

The DG is on a four-day visit to Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh to review the operational preparedness of the ICG units based at Krishnapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, Karaikal in Puducherry, and Mandapam in Tamil Nadu.

Rakesh also reviewed the infrastructure projects related to capacity building and support services for ICG units in Chennai and other locations.

The DG interacted with officers and men at ICGS Station in Mandapam.(UNI)
