MAHABUBNAGAR (TELANGANA), AUG 29 : Three people were killed on the spot and two others injured seriously when a car in which they were travelling collided with a lorry on the Mahabubnagar-Hyderabad national highway at Tatikonda, Boothpur Mandal, in this district on Thursday.

According to police, the accident occurred when the occupants of the car were proceeding to Hyderabad from Tirupati.

The injured were admitted to the government hospital here for treatment. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway, police added.
