Jalna, June 6 : Four people drowned on Tuesday afternoon in the farm pond at Samangaon Shivar in Jalna district, including two brothers, their son and their father.The deceased were identified as Bhagwat Krishna Padul(9), Omkar Krishna Padul(7) and Yuvraj Bhagwat Ingle (35) and his son Omkar Krishna Padul(6).Reports stated that, due to this tragedy, mourning has spread not only to Samangaon but also to the surrounding villages.Samangaon is a village ten kilometres away from Jalna town.Krishna, Omkar, and Yuvraj went swimming near the farm pond and fell in the deep water after failing to gauge the gravity of the water.After hearing them Bhagwat father of Yuvraj who was working nearby immediately rushed to the farm and tried to save these children. But while saving the children, he drowned in this lake.Meanwhile, the ponds were broken on one side to drain the water from the farm, but by then the dead bodies were found.Taluka police and the people of the area fished out the bodies and have sent for post-mortem.(UNI)
