CHENNAI, JULY 19 :  The CB-CID police have arrested one more suspect–a woman BJP functionary–in connection with the murder of BSP Tamil Nadu Unit President K.Armstrong,

taking the total number of arrests to 16 on Friday night.
Police sources said BJP functionary Anjalai, who was absconding was arrested and was being interrogated in an undisclosed location.

She was arrested from her hide out in North Chennai.
She was believed to have funded the entire operation to avenge the killing of her associate Arcot Suresh, who was murdered last year in Chennai.
With this 16 people were arrested in this case.

Ms Anjalai was expelled from the BJP after her involvement came to light yesterday.
She will be produced before a Court tomorrow, after questioning for judicial remand.
